Sunday, July 21st - Hitting the Note Golf Classic at Peninsula Golf Club in Gulf Shores
Frank Brown Songwriter's Festival is kicking off it's inaugural event with this two day affair, a scholarship gala and a golf tournament. The events are in honor of the late Joe Gilchrist, one of the owners of Flora-Bama. Joe's legacy will live on forever, not just inside the walls of the Flora-Bama, but out into the world where he made gigantic impacts on the lives of musicians and countless other people in the community over the span of his life. His philanthropic efforts in this community will benefit generations to come. This specific fundraiser will raise money to be used for scholarships in his name for kids in Alabama and Florida wanting to pursue a career in music.
Guests have a few options to be a part of this event. Patrons can purchase a team in the golf tournament which will include a foursome to play along with tickets to attend the scholarship gala the night before. All golf teams include 8 tickets to this gala, so golfers can bring a plus one.
