Bushwacker History
The Bushwacker first appeared on the gulf coast in the early 1970's. Some locals had brought back the the drink recipe and Pat (a Flora-Bama owner) soon made the Flora-Bama version.
There have been numerous versions copied over the last 50 years but the Flora-Bama is still known at the "Home of the Bushwacker" in the states.
